Thakena Hogue
More Than Just an Attorney
Our founding member, Thakena (pronounced: Ta-key-na) Hogue has a diverse background of experience. She is licensed to practice law in Indiana and is a Indiana Supreme Court Registered Civil and Domestic Relations Mediator. In addition to being an attorney, Thakena is a licensed mental health therapist. She has applied her systems training as a therapist to working with companies in organizational and leadership development.
Thakena was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Thakena loves music of all kinds, hanging out with her family, and teaching spin classes. Her favorite television show is The Golden Girls.

Kennedy D. Hogue
Legal Intern 2023-2024
Kennedy Hogue is a Senior at Brebeuf Jesuit High School. She serves as the event coordinator for the Mi Familia Association at Brebeuf. She is a member of the Black Student Union and Students Against Childhood Cancer. Kennedy has been involved in cultural immersion trips to China and El Salvador. As an Ignatian Scholar, Kennedy represented her school at the Ignatian Family Teach-In in Washington, D.C. Kennedy plans to have a career in International Law. Kennedy enjoys playing the cello, listening to music, and riding her bike.
Kennedy represents The Magi Group's commitment to diversifying the field of law. We strongly belief that diversity in law involves engaging underrepresented groups much sooner than the undergraduate experience.
